Senior Banquet 2022 “Watermelon Alley”
What a treat! On Saturday, July 30th, the seniors of Cottondale enjoyed a time of fun as they were reminded of Cottondale back before 231 was four-laned. The City of Cottondale shared photos and folks reminisced and shared stories.
Floyd Scott, Cottondale’s Public Works Director, sang some good gospel and a little Elvis too. Presley. Rev. Lawrence Gantt Sr. of Henshaw Chapel AME Church played his saxophone. Lots of gifts were given as tickets were drawn and Bingo games were won. Food catered by Angel Davis, and it was awesome.
